MONTALBÁN 11

For the third consecutive year, the AD magazine returned with its traditional event, Arco Madrid, where Montalbán 11 was the absolute protagonist. ‘Live with art’ came to reality in the most important contemporary art exhibition in Spain by ItalInmuebles.

It was in the last edition of Arco Madrid with the 'Live with Art' stand, in collaboration with Montalbán 11, that using the occasion, ItalInmuebles launched their flagship project. Three large habitable covers came together and one of them gave light to the project. Starting with a piece by Carlos Cruz-Diez, one of the world references of kinetic art, recreated what will be Montalbán 11, a single building of homes in Madrid taken over by the French-Venezuelan who intends to convert it into a luxury habitable sculpture.

The French-Venezuelan artist Carlos Cruz-Diez (1923), one of the greatest world references of kinetic and visual art with works in the MoMA and the Tate Modern that have been the inspiration for the residential project that is Montalbán 11, a historic building next to the Retiro and the main museums in Madrid, influenced in the same way. His pieces interact in the public spaces (entrance hall and lift) and each one of the 10 homes of the project with a unique result. Live in a work of art, that is the spirit of this cover that has been used in his Transchromie Madrid C.
